About Koru Design.
Koru Design is a Product & Industrial Design Company based in North Wales. We have a keen eye for detail with 6 years’ experience working in the design industry, designing innovative products for manufacture.
As Industrial Designers we have extensive knowledge of Concept Design, CAD Modelling, Design Engineering, Photorealistic Renders and 3D Printing. We have used our skills and knowledge over the years to help entrepreneurs, start-ups and established business develop their ideas into products for their business to help them grow.
We have worked across sectors including: consumer electronics, medical, pet, kitchenware, homeware and lighting. We have vast knowledge of the manufacturing methods: Injection Moulding, Rotational Moulding, Blow Moulding, Metal Fabrication, as well as 3D Printing for prototyping.
Our Studio
Koru Design’s studio is based in Ruthin, North Wales. This is where we develop our clients ideas from concepts through to manufactured products. We have an office area where we generate ideas and create concepts which are either pencil sketches or more detailed digital sketches.
We also have a dedicated space of our office where we create CAD models ready for prototyping, 3D rendering and designing for manufacture. We have a 3D printer which allows us to create prototypes for our clients to understand more about the design and make any last minute design alterations.
We are currently an online only based company. However in the future we are hoping to have a collaborative space where we can engage with our clients face to face and work with them on their projects.
