Lanterns
We were approached by a buyer for Potterybarn to generate concepts and produce new designs for their outdoor lantern collection. When designing the lanterns it was a key factor that potterybarn wanted the design to be sustainable. We started by creating many designs for potterybarn to choose from to be manufactured. After consulting on ideas and designs, Potterybarn decided to go with four of our designs.
Designed for indoor and outdoor use, these luxury lanterns are suitable for all home and garden use.
Designed with luxury in mind not only are the lanterns aesthetically pleasing, they have also been designed to be re-useable. Most candles you find will burn out and you have to buy a new candle all together, this becomes a problem if you liked the design of the candle you had purchased.
These luxury lanterns come in 3 unique designs for different setting and holiday seasons. Our design means that once your candle has burnt out you can buy a replacement and continue to keep that luxury and cosy atmosphere with the same design you desired.
Our design process for these luxury lanterns was split in to six stages. Once Potterybarn had consulted us on their vision, we started idea generation and creating concept sketches. Once Potterybarn had decided on the initial designs we started to develop these designs on CAD. From here we design the lanterns for manufacture.
Designed for indoor and outside use, the lanterns come in two different finishes bronze and polished nickel. All our finishes are suitable for the indoor and outdoor lanterns however, if you chose to have polished nickel and have your lanterns on show outside then it has to be a covered area.
